Screenshot capture log

Stand: Postgres 16 :5433, app-server :18081, web-ui :18083, WebRF :18090, quark-reports :8086 (no Docker). Users demo1 / sup1 / op1, password welcome1. Data: the demo story from scripts/docs-screenshots/seed-demo-story.mjs (Meridian Home & Living, Harbor & Pine Outfitters, SKU001-014, ASNs, pallets, orders, wave policy, area-pick policy with carts, pack stations PACK01/02).

What was captured​

  • 188 image references in the guides; 175 have a picture, 13 do not (list with reasons: ../MISSING-SCREENSHOTS.md, generated by scripts/docs-screenshots/missing-report.py).
  • RF (390x780 @2x, annotated with numbered teal badges, raw copies in raw/): 26 flows in scripts/docs-screenshots/rf-flows.json. The task-card flows are rf-receive-asn-*, rf-putaway-*, rf-move-*, rf-count-*, rf-pick-*, rf-area-*, rf-pack-*, rf-blind-*.
  • Web (1440x900 @2x, light theme): scripts/docs-screenshots/screens.json.
  • The "Focus:" captions in the guides match the highlights of each capture.

One id only: node scripts/docs-screenshots/capture-rf.mjs --only <flow-or-shot-id> or node scripts/docs-screenshots/capture.mjs --only <id>. Details: scripts/docs-screenshots/README.md. Order matters: RF flows consume data (orders, receipts), so run them on a freshly seeded database. Build wms-dev-db and app-server from the same tree: a newer wms-dev-db created a NOT NULL column (outbound_flow_unit.subject_kind) that the older app-server does not write, so carrier delivery failed with 23502.

Known gaps (13)​

CNT00 (transient), PICK07/PKA24S (serial picks), PICK14/PICK15/PKA21L/PKA21A (lot confirmation on a pick), PICK10R, PICK13_OVR, PKA26C, PKA52, PKA12 (deeper exception sub-screens), and printer-assignments-list-form (no menu opens it). Cosmetic: the lot-policy config could not be saved through the API, so a SKU shows the default colour label.

Product bugs found​

Status 2026-10-11: items 1 to 3 are fixed in main (see each item). The captures were made before the fixes; the stand fixups for items 1 to 3 are no longer needed on a stand that runs the current code.

  1. Fixed (F-05, PR #1166, commit 49bbbf5f1). Receipts list returned 503 once a receipt is closed or cancelled (jsonb close_summary / cancel_summary). Steps: close any receipt (RF Close Receipt), open Inbound > Receipts. Stand fixup: set both columns to NULL (stand-up.sh fixups).
  2. Fixed (F-05, PR #1166, commit 49bbbf5f1). Audit Log list returned 503 when audit_log.detail is a JSON object. Steps: change a user, open Users & Roles > Audit Log. Same fixup.
  3. Fixed (F-04, PR #1165, commit 4f4ef04ab; wms-enterprise 018 also scrubs old rows). The audit log stored password hashes and salts in detail of user changes. Steps: create/edit a user, read the row. The fixup masks them before the screenshot.
  4. Carrier delivery (Pick by Area, PKA30 at PACK01) with an order whose picks are "Bypassed" (non-cartonizable) fails at hand-off. Steps: release an order for a non-cartonizable SKU, pick it by area with a carrier, deliver. Seeded order HP-20871 is left as a draft for that reason.
  5. Enterprise > Configuration > Warehouses opens an empty content area (no list). Steps: Enterprise mode, sidebar Warehouses.
  6. Breadcrumb of a record opened from a list shows the record id, and Order lines toolbar shows an enabled Save without edits (shipment-order-detail).
  7. Unverified: Pick Result screen (PICK12) shows Picked 0 after a full pick of 60.
